Lonesome Roads

"I can stay."said Beatrice.Ethan and Aiden folowd with the old man."I hope tey have chicken."

"Trucy you stay here too, just in case Beatrice passes out again. Alright you two. Stay low. Keep close. No stragglers." Martin said as more past memories took to his mind. He crouched down and slowly began to make his way through the grassy overgrowth toward the chain link fence of the parking lot.

The boys were already short so they walkd slowly but in full size.

Martin stopped at the fence and peered through. It looked like in the early morning they hadn't put out many patrols yet. If they kept low and snuck around the wrecked cars they should be fine. Their only major issue was the man sitting at a table by the front entrance but they'd deal with that when they got there. "Alright, I'll boost you two over the fence first, then Bonecrusher and you catch him on the other side."

The boys noded.

Martin boosted the two boys over, then Bonecrusher, then scaled the fence himself. They avoided the couple of patrolmen in the parking lot and got close to the entrance. "Alright we need to find a way in. Any ideas?"

"How about we distract him?"sugested Ethan.

"Okay. We're gonna have to split up. One of you come with me, the other and Bonecrusher keep these guys occupied while we sneak in and take the goods."

"I'm going with you so you would take good stuff.""I will stay here."so which twin goes where?

"You just want to go in so you can find more chicken." Martin said shaking his head in his hand. "Fine. Ethan take Bonecrusher and find some way to distract the guard so we can get in."

"Hehhehe"Aiden had a nervous laugh.Ethan and bonecrushes began to throw rocks in diferent directions.

The man by the door got up and looked around, then yelled out to one of the patrolmen to check one place while he checked another. "Okay Aiden let's go." Martin whispered then snuck in through the door.

Aiden folowd.Ethan stopd throwing but when they were about to come back he began throwing again.

From inside it was easy to see how the place was seperated. On the left side of the shopping centre were open and redecorated shops which mostly housed beds for the slavers among other things. The right side were a number of shops in disrepair with makeshift metal bars covering the windows and imposing metal doors. It didn't take a genius to work out that they were filled with slaves. The slavers had conveniently labeled the rooms used to keep stuff with big signs. "There see that one marked Food? Let's go."

Aiden noded and folowd.

Most of the slavers were still in bed so they didn't have much trouble making their way to the food room. Martin took the bag off his back and threw it to Aiden. "Alright go in there and find us some good food. Stuff that'll last us awhile. And if you're gonna fill up with chicken you might aswell do it while we're here and then shove the rest in your pockets."

Chicken.He went to fill the food.

While Aiden was getting food, Martin went into the room next door marked Weapons and Ammo. He filled a second bag with ammo for his rifle and Aidens handgun. While he was sneaking back out he found some dynamite which gave him an idea. He set up his plan then went back for Aiden "Done yet chicken boy?"

He was eating a sandwich "Mmmm?Uhu."he noded.

They made their way back to the front door where they stopped and looked outside. "Do you see your brother?"

Aiden pointed at a blue looking car "There."Ethan was sitting there throwing rocks with bonecrusher.

"Try to signal him so he knows to start running in a moment." Martin was taking the rifle off his back and adjusting the sights "Time for a little diversion of my own."

Aiden got a small mirror and started to turn it in the small sunlight.Ethan noticed it and peakd from the car and noded..

Martin brought the rifle to his shoulder and aligned the sights with the box of dynamite he set up. "Run." he muttered as he pulled back on the trigger and the weapons room went up in flames. He turned his gun to the second set of dynamite at the room marked generator and shot once more. As he had predicted the electronic store doors that sealed the slaves in began to open. He got up and began to run.

They ran like the filthy men they are.Ok I won't be a sexist...for now.The girls heard the explosion and got ready.
