Along their journey animals began to flock around Lei and sit on his shoulders. Duccio looked at him oddly and whispered to the others "That old man creeps me out. Just what the hell is with him anyway?" Jin ignored him and kept walking.

"The birds seem to be loyal to you."Lu Chu said ignoring the foreigner hopping her gets eaten by something.

Xiaoyu picked up a squirrel and began to tickle it in her hands. Lei said "Without my eyes I have found there is much more to the world than what we see." Duccio scoffed then walked ahead.

Lu Chu seemd intrested but lets face it she won't lose her eyes for this.She put some locks of her hair behind her ear and continued to walk looking arond the beautifull valley.

Jin walked with crossed arms taking little notice of the scenery. After much silence he opened his mouth and said "We're being watched from above."

Lu Chu continued to walk "...Four people."

"By the sound of it they're lightly clothed and armed with knives. Probably common bandits mistaking us for an easy target." said Lei in a hushed voice.

"Than that shoden't be a problem or we can always leave the foreigner as bait."she continued to walk.

Duccio ignored the comment and said "Let's not waste their time then." he picked a device off his belt and dropped it to the ground, causing it to break apart into pieces that resembled gold coins. The bandits could wait no longer and began to close in on their prey.

"Sigh....Those greedy people."she waited for them to get closer.

They had identified the blind man as the weakest link in the group and two rushed in to attack him. They didn't even have time to react before he grabbed one of their arms, snapped the wrist and then slung the man over his shoulder into the other. Jin drew his sword and began to advance on one of the men, while Xiaoyu and Duccio ran toward the ones sprawled on the ground.

Lu Chu hit the other man in the cheast making him take a few steps back.Then somwhere near the neck from which he fainted.She quickly went to assist the others.

Jin swirved around the mans knife and sliced him across the back of his knee with the sword, sending him to the ground. The bandit reached for his knife put stopped when Jin placed his sword close to his face. "Go ahead. Make my day."

A few of the bandits ran away in fear exept for the unconsious one and the one Jin got."Now what?"

Xiaoyu bent down and poked the unconscious ones head. "I say we string them up by their feet and hang them from the trees. That'll teach the meanies."

"Ok....any other bright ideas?"Lu Chu lookd at the girl with the 'how old is she'

Lei spoke and said "She may be right about tying them up at least. These men are dangerous criminals." Duccio stared at him and mumbled "Seriously we're assassins here..."

"We might as well tie them to a tree and leave.I have no interest in them."she helpd Xiaoyu tie them to a tree."Can we please go now?"she crossed her arms.

Jin who had already started walking said "We can be in town by nightfall if we keep moving."

'Perfect." she kept walking.Finally about in seven hours they reachd town.It was empty and only the poor light from the lanterns lighted the road

Xiaoyu spoke up and said "Rumor has it that this town is a front for the Triads and that the false Emperor is one of their leaders."

"Really?That sure sounds enteresting"Lu Chu was amazed

"All kinds of stolen and illegal items must be stored in this village." Jin said "Doesn't look like they have an inn, we're just gonna have to break in somewhere and borrow a place for the night."

Lei walked around it for a moment then said "Empty." "It'll do then." Xiaoyu said as she stepped back and then made a sweeping high kick that tore the door from its hinges.
